The Goal of the Town of Crystal Bay is to create a Comprehensive Land Use Plan for the township.
From May through June of 2003, the Comprehensive Land Use Committee drafted recommendations for the plan.
These recommendations were based upon community input:
- from Focus Groups done throughout the community;
- from the committee which is composed of community members;
- from attendees who come to our open meetings; and
- from participants in our strategic planning day
Recommendations from the MN State Department of Planning were used as well as consideration of
the Lake County Comprehensive Land Use Plan.
A draft vision was presented to the Crystal Bay Township in October 2003.
